Casa Baloo

The perfect place! We stayed 8 nights at Casa Baloo and are so happy about it! Lucy, the host, is the kindest, most helpful host you could wish for. She went out of her way to make sure we had everything we wanted. The rooms are clean and comfy. The pool is lovely. The food in the restaurant is delicious. My favourite thing was the roof terrace - views over the lagoon, the jungle and the chance to watch the sunrise and sunset!! If you’re going to Mexico, Casa Baloo is an excellent choice of where to stay. 100% recommended.

I stayed three days with my wife and my daughter in casa baloo and we loved everyhting about it. the hotel itself is very nice and cosy and beautifull. Our room was big, the bed was very comfortable and the aircon worked really well (which is important as the heat can be high in this part of Mexico) what really made the difference is the family running the hotel and all the staff. They really made us feel home and made sure we were always taken care of and that we had a troublefree holidays. I am so gladwe finished our tour of Mexico in this place as it really was a good place to relax and enjoy. the pool is very nice and very refreshing. Hopefully we can come back one day. thank you for everyhting

Do yourself a favour and book a few nights in this wonderful place. The extremely friendly and dedicated hostess Lucy alone, who can speak Spanish and English, makes this accommodation a special gem. The hotel is very new and clean, and the restaurant a few houses down the street serves delicious food at fair prices. We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Baloo and even spontaneously extended it. We would love to return in the future.

If you're looking for a place to stay nearby the beach to switch off and fully relax, this small boutique hotel with great hosts, which make you feel like a part of the family, is the one. About the location: It's nicely located 5 walking minutes from the beach and 10 minutes to the center of el Cuyo. From the rooftop of the hotel, I could see pink flamingos in the lagoon on the back. El Cuyo as a village is, in comparison to more touristy places as Cancún etc. more walkable and safe. About the hotel: You will notice attention to detail all over this place - starting with the design of the rooms and pool area, and even personalized bathroom products which I loved. Chatting with Lucy in the morning around breakfast was the best way to start my days - by the way, I would recommend you to order the chilaquiles con salsa verde, they were delicious. Whenever I needed help to organize something or any recommendations, the family was there for me as well. After one week I was sad to leave but happy about this great experience :-) Thanks so much Lucy, Fran and Irene for making this time so special!

Casa Baloo is a hotel in a class of its own. The location is perfect (less than 5 minutes walk tonthe beach), the rooms are beautiful and modern. But what really stands out is the staff. Within a very short time I felt so comfortable as a guest, as if it were my new home. The crew does everything to make your stay as pleasant as possible. A huge compliment :) The Baloo restaurant, where breakfast for the guests is served, is bursting with fresh dishes and original Mexican flavors. Here too, the emphasis is on hospitality. If you visit El Cuyo, stay at Casa Baloo, you will not regret it. Thank you Casa Baloo team for this wonderful week with you :)

I really had a great time here ! The hotel is clean view is nice and the staff are very helpful and friendly !!!! El cuyo is very beautiful and safe ! I had the most wonderful stay here in casa baloo ! The breakfast is delicious and the staffs are very friendly and help me whenever I had any problems! Highly recommend

ITS a very beautiful place with a magical View and Stunning sunrises over the lagune from the roof terrace ! ITS very quiet and beds are confortable and stuff is really very nice and tried all to Help me with a Lot ofThings Like a Family !also the Pool and the plants around is really a beautiful place to stay in the hot days, would love to come Back any time..thanks a Lot for every Thing!

We LOVED our stay at Cass Baloo!! We immediately felt very welcomed and taken care of. The rooms were cute and very clean, everyone was very nice and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious! It’s in a great location on the quiet side of El Cuyo (you will need bug spray) with an incredible rooftop view. I would love to come back!
